OpenStreetMap attribution

Plateship business data includes information from OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Data Commons Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0. OpenStreetMap attribution and an ODbL link appear on every public catalog page.

The OSM-derived database layer

Plateship preserves a source snapshot for each imported OpenStreetMap business record. A machine-readable copy of that OSM-derived layer is offered under ODbL 1.0. Email legal@plateship.com to request the current extract and licence notice. The export excludes account data and privately submitted verification documents.

Corrections and reuse

OpenStreetMap source corrections should also be contributed to OpenStreetMap where appropriate. Plateship-specific owner text, images, accounts and private records are separate from the offered OSM-derived layer and remain governed by their own rights and privacy rules.
